Welcome to Jeffrey Street
Our wee shop on Jeffrey Street (hence the name) opened in the depths of a cold December in 2014. Created by three likeminded friends, our business quickly garnered a reputation for impeccable customer service, creative recommendations and five-star whisky tasting experiences.

Hector Maclean of Dochgarroch is the jovial, bearded Scotsman who lights up a room with his hilarious and wildly informative whisky tastings. He’s made a whisky lover out of almost every visitor that has come through our doors and has impressed many experts with his wealth of knowledge.
Jo and Daniel are the married couple of the shop and the other two familiar faces you’ll see around. Their passion for whisky and cigars, and their history in the industry have given each of them unique perspectives when it comes to what makes a memorable dram.
Jeffrey St Whisky and Tobacco has been built by folks who live in Edinburgh and want to share their love of whisky and Scotland with everyone who pops into the shop!
