Caol Ila 13 year old Spirit of Art
This cask strength Caol Ila whisky spent 13 years maturing in a single bourbon barrel. It was bottled by The Distiller's Art with no chill filtration nor artificial colouring. The accompanying art was created by artist Brian Mcfie and depicts the warehouses of Caol Ila distillery as seen from the Sound of Jura.
The whisky has a rich and generous palate with sea spray, smoke and brine undertones. Black pepper and damp earth flavours that combine with yellow fruit appear too. This lovely whisky and the artwork will transport your imagination to the stunning Isle of Islay.
Just 223 bottles and prints were released.
