Arran 19 year old is an independently bottled single malt from this Island distillery. The whisky was bottled by independent bottlers Gleann Mor and has plenty of complex flavours. Dark fruits, nuts and a waxy character.
Arran distillery profile
Arran distillery is one of Scotland's very few independently owned distilleries. It is located in Lochranza, Isle of Arran. The distillery was founded in 1994 and has produced some remarkable whiskies ever since. This distillery is also the only one in Scotland with permission to use the image and signature of the famous poet Robert Burns. Its logo with the two eagles pays homage to two of these birds of prey that famously nested at the distillery when it was being built. The works had to stop for a few moths to leave the birds undisturbed.
