Glenfarclas 15 year old
Glenfarclas 15 year old is a single malt with a strong focus on sherried notes and flavours. The whisky has been awarded 95 points by whisky writer Jim Murray. The whisky still enjoys popularity among whisky enthusiasts and connoisseurs.
Glenfarclas distillery in Ballindaloch, Banffshire is one of the last family owned distilleries in Speyside. It was founded in 1836 as a farm distillery. The distillery went through many acquisitions, crises and expansions since its inception. Distilling capacity was increased in 1960 and again in 1976. A visitor centre was also built in 1973. Glenfarclas distillery was one of the first distilleries to ever release a 40 year old whisky as part of its core range.
