The inaugural release utilizes traditional Scotch pot still malt and distilling yeast, the raw materials that constitute the flavor foundation of all Holyrood single malt whisky recipes. Future releases, each distinguished and unique, will undergo evolution from this recipe by incorporating heritage and specialty malts, along with a variety of yeasts not commonly employed within the production of Scotch whisky.
