Imperial 1989 is a rare release from this now closed distillery in the Speyside. After spending more thn 28 years maturing in a bourbon barrel it was bottled by Morrison and Mackay.
This is a really delicious single malt offering flavours of pineapple, mango and shortbread like sweetness. The finish is very long lasting and warming with even more yellow fruit touch to it. Stocks of whisky from Imperial distillery are increasingly difficult to get so hurry while you still can indulge yourself.
