Both Whisky and Chocolate are rich often sweet and bitter. We recommend the use of Dark Chocolate as the flavour best matches Whisky. We felt so strongly about it that we commissioned a very talented Chocolatier to produce us some very special Chocolates of extra high quality Cocoa.
Mexican Chocolate - typical Mexican chocolate is made with roasted and ground cacao nibs, sugar, and cinnamon. Other spices such as nutmeg and allspice may be added, along with nuts, and chilies are sometimes used as well. Or chocolate does not have any additional spices as we thought that to many ingredients will disturb flavours of whisky. Mexican chocolate tends to be rather granular in texture, with a creamy finish from the cocoa butter. The natural sweetness from the sugar makes the addition of extra sweetener unnecessary, and makes it a favourite among deserts.
Ecuadorian Chocolate - Barely 5% of cacao produced in the world is given the prestigious label of Fine Aroma. Ecuador produces nearly 63% of that fine aroma flavored cacao worldwide production. International and knowledgeable chocolatiers look for this particular floral, fruity toasted aroma to distinguish a top dark premium chocolate.
