This phenomenal 12 year old Linkwood was released by independent bottlers Lady of the Glen. The liquid spent at least 11 years in a single Bourbon hogshead. 50 liters of spirit were put in a first fill PX octave and were left there for at least 4 months.
The result is a luscious whisky with notes of spice, toasted oak and nougat. There is a meaty sensation and a whiff of smoke. This Speyside single malt was bottled at natural cask strength and with no chill filtration involved.
