This London Dry Gin was named after the mythical port where King Solomon was said to receive a cargo of spices, exotic animals and precious metals every three years. Opihr gin uses botanicals from around the ancient spice route. Expect notes of cardamon and a subtle sweetness.
Since 1761, G&J Distillers have been producing gin continuously. The aim of the distillery has always been consistency and quality. Only seven master distillers have been in charge of the distillery since its inception and this guarantees continuity in their products. In the new millennium, the distillery moved premises to accommodate larger equipment and a larger team. These days the distillery is managed by international drinks group Quintessential Brands.
