Spirit merchants Berry Bros. & Rudd have released this single cask bottling of single malt whisky distilled in 1999. They didn't specify where they sourced the liquid from they just called it: 'Orkney Islands'. We sampled it, it is smooth, complex and has a very well balanced hint of smoked.
From the above tasting notes we were left thinking: 'there are only two distilleries in Orkney Islands, only one of them produces whisky using smoked barley'. Hmmm, we think we know where the whisky comes from. Do you?
