Anejados Corona Gorda
The Partagas Anejados Corona Gorda is the first in a run of new aged Cuban cigars. The premise is that a cigar that has been aged in Cuba for five years will require less aging when i t reaches your Humidor at home. This makes sound sense and will certainly produce a far more succulent and smoke-able cigar. In the case of the Corona Gordos the cigars have been aged between five to eight years and have been kept in optimal conditions for ageing to ensue they do not loose any of there original tastes but develop along pre-planed routes of flavour. It is a rare thing indeed to have the opportunity to try a aged cigar with having to age them yourself and the continual checking and rechecking of your Humidor.
