Peterson Standard System 304
The Standard 304 is a standard Peterson system pipe. Made from the highest quality Briar wood ( A tuber like root from the tree heath plant, a form of heather found in Eastern and Southern Europe.)
The Peterson Briar is cut when it is 60 years old and cured under water for several hours before it is dried for 3 months. The wood has a beautiful patina and appearance, Peterson pipes are often "rustic" when the wood is sand blasted to hold a bark like appearance. Pipes with this style are often revered as prize pieces as the pipe can be rubbed as it is smoked after all the Devil makes work for idle hands.
