Port Dundas Coopers Choice
This example of Port Dundas Single grain was distilled in 1999 just ten years before the distillery was to be closed forever. Now a thing of some rarity this whisky has been matured in a Brandy Cask as a finish. This is most unusual in whisky in general but in a Grain whisky nigh on unheard off. the Brandy will impart a dry fruit taste that is some what like sherry but with out the over powering sweet undertones. with such a limited supply of only 360 bottles this is a whisky to grab before they are all gone. either as a bottle for a collection or as a opportunity to drink a little piece of history.
