Rattray's Scottish Thistle 13
Rattray Scottish Thistle 13 is made from the highest quality Briar wood. Briar is a tuber like root from the heath tree plant, a form of heather found in Eastern and Southern Europe. Rattray's Briar is cut when it reaches 60 years of age and is cured under water for several hours before it is dried for 3 months. The wood has a beautiful patina and appearance.
This Rattray's design is a standard smooth with a fantastic weight. It's not too light so it doesn't feel like it is not there. It isn't heavy either to avoid causing discomfort. The Smooth style is the most popular of the Rattray's brand. Almost all the pipes under the Rattray's pipes are designed to fit 9mm filters.
