Strathmill 2002 70cl
The Strathmill 2002 has a distinct Peach, dried apple and a good squeeze of lemon on the nose with a Poached pear and minty palate a often ignored whisky but we feel its worth your consideration.
Built on the location of an old grain mill, Strathmill (Mill in then long Valley.). This Distillery is one of the few distilleries to survive the Pattison crises as the owners had also invested heavily in Gin production. Eventualy the company was to merge with a rival and created the International Distillers & Vintners. When IDV took the reigns Strathmill was to be upgraded with a further two stills. Eventually the whole company was to be re branded as Diageo. The whisky taht the distillery produces goes in to Blends for the most part
