Cohiba Siglo VI and Cohiba Robusto

Cohiba Siglo VI and Cohiba Robusto

Without a doubt the most popular cigar brand in the world is Cohiba. The brand was created for Fidel Castro and was rolled in secret at the legendary El Laguito factory in Havana, Cuba. Cohiba cigars were often presented to dignitaries, ambassadors and politicians who visited Cuba. This exclusivity and rarity made the brand desirable.

Today, few people are lucky enough to get their hands on the Cohiba Behike and Maduro 5 range. While the Cohiba Siglo VI and Cohiba Robusto are also quite difficult to get hold of, our store in Edinburgh will sometimes have a small bundle stashed away.

When we opened our doors in 2014, we often indulged in a Cohiba Linea 1492, the Behike and Maduro 5 cigars were kept for special occasions. What we liked about these wonderful range was its vast array of flavours that went from rustic and earthy, to complex, nutty with hints of marzipan.

The flavours and complexity that Cohiba cigars deliver are achieved by its unique blend of the finest tobacco leaves from the Vegas de Primera (top farms) in the San Juan y Martinez and San Luis districts. Both in the prestigious Vuelta Abajo zone where the finest tobacco in the world grows.
