The Douglas Laing bottling company was founded in 1948 in Glasgow. The company has an array of brands among them: Old Particular, Provenance and Big Peat. All of which have won prestigious awards world wide. Before the Laing brothers decided to part ways in 2013, the brand Old Malt Cask was well known for offering affordable, yet quality single malt releases. Included in that range were whiskies such as Ardbeg and Brora. Single malts, un-chillfiltered and with no added colouring are the whiskies that the company focuses on.
