Ardmore 10 Year Old 2014 is a remarkable single malt Scotch whisky, expertly bottled by the renowned independent bottler, Lady of the Glen. Distilled in 2014 and aged for a decade, this outstanding expression underwent a finishing period in a first-fill Oloroso sherry hogshead cask (#944). This final maturation imbues the whisky with a rich complexity, enhancing Ardmore's signature peated Highland profile with the luxurious sweetness and warming spice of Oloroso sherry. With only 313 individually numbered bottles available, this limited release presents a rare opportunity to savor a masterful balance of smoky peat and sherry-infused richness.

Ardmore Distillery
This distillery was founded in 1898. It contributes most of its production to the Teacher's blend. This distillery preserved the very traditional method of coal firing its stills until 2002. Its floor maltings were decommissioned in the 1970s. These days the distillery has its own cooperage and gets its heavily peated barley from nearby floor maltings. The production capacity could reach over 4 million liters however the distillery produces some 3 million liters of alcohol. The current owner is Fortune Brands and the un-peated version of the whisky is called Ardlair.
