Hoyo de Monterrey
Hoyo de Monterrey cigars are one of the most well known of the Cuban Tobacco Brands. Founded in 1865 by Don José Gener y Batet Who become so well known for his tobacco that he was able to build his Factory to the point that it became the largest in Cuba. In 1990 Gener Died and left the comapny to his daughter who would later sell it on to the firm of Fernández, Palicio y Cía, who owned the brands of Punch and Belinda.
