The Backwoods cigars were originally introduced to the market in 1981 and have been appreciated by cigars smokers ever since.
Their unique structure and look -"WILD & MILD" as it was called, with a frayed end, tapered body and unfinished head, had great appeal to cigar smokers who identified the cigar's image with the cowboy smoke from America's wild west.
