Lochlea presents a distinguished selection of seasonal small batch releases, each exemplifying the distillery's distinctive style in four unique expressions annually, intricately intertwined with the seasonal rhythms of Lochlea farm. In this Ploughing Edition (Second Crop), akin to the renowned First Crop, the whisky underwent maturation exclusively in 200-litre barrels sourced from Islay, with heightened focus on extended aging within the brand's onsite warehousing facilities. Bottled at 46% ABV, this edition boasts natural coloration and remains unaltered by the chill filtration process.

Initially led by the experience and expertise of distillery manager Malcolm Rennie, and now under the management of ex-Laphroaig Distillery Manager John Campbell.
