Ian Macleod Distillers, headquartered in Broxburn, West Lothian, operates Glengoyne distillery in Stirlingshire and Tamdhu distillery in Knockando on Speyside. While their flagship blended brands include Isle of Skye, Smokehead, and King Robert, they also produce a variety of independent bottlings under the banners 'As We Get it,' Chieftain’s, and Dun Bheagan. As the world’s 10th largest Scotch whisky company, Macleod’s annually manufactures and distributes over 15 million bottles of spirits.

Renowned as a key player in the 'buyers’ own brand' market, the company has supplied own-label spirits to Europe's leading supermarket chains for more than four decades. Macleod’s holds a 50% stake in Broxburn Bottlers, with the remaining 50% owned by J&G Grant of Glenfarclas. Founder Peter Russell chairs Ian Macleod, while his son Leonard serves as managing director.
