Trinidad Vigia 

The Trinidad Vigia is the first release from Trinidad since the 2012 withdraw of most of the brands tobacco range. Gone where the Robusto T and Robusto Extra. SO it is with great pleasure that we anounce the return to form and a very full flavoured return it is of Trinidad. The flavours from this cigar are very fresh and mostly leather. That being said a nice eucalyptus and clove taste permeates the cigar as it reaches the half way point. Towards the end wood and aged Cedar take the front.

TRINIDAD BRAND

Trinidad are named after the beautiful 16th century city of La Santisima Trinidad, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The brand of cigars dates back to 1969 but for many years, like Cohiba it was made only as a gift to foreign diplomats. Not untill 1998 it was released for sale to the world at large in small quantities. 

At the start there was only one size: Fundadores and in 2003 three more sizes (Reyes, Coloniales & Robusto extra) were added to the range. At the same time Trinidad's livery and its cigar brand were updated to recognized the prestige that the brand commanded. For years Trinidad were made in EL Laguito, the Cohiba Factory, where its uniquely fragrant and aromatic medium flavoured blend of filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abjo region was developed. By the end of 2004 demand for Trinidad outstripped the production capacity at El Laguito and it was decided that the production should be moved to Pinar del Rio City.
