Glen Spey 13 year old Woodrow's Of Edinburgh Cask #806892
This Glen Spey was aged for 13 long years in a single refill hogshead. The whisky was then bottled at cask strength (59.2% ABV) with no chill filtration and showing its natural colour. Just 236 bottles were released.
The nose and palate offer heather honey notes, hay undertones and green fruit. Some orange peel, freshly baked oatcakes and brown sugar notes appear too.

After starting as whisky cask traders, the team at Eastlin Alba adopted a policy: 'always get samples drawn for their customers'. This was so that their clients always knew what they were getting. At times, the team found, and still finds, some superb casks that were 'too good to pass on', those casks are then bottled under the Woodrow's of Edinburgh Warehouse Reserve label.
