Fib Whisky

Proud Fifeans, the founders of this independent bottling company picked a name that would evoke tradition and local roots. The name Fib was chosen after one of the sons of mythological Pictish king Cruithne who gave the kingdom of Fife to his son Fib.

Fib whisky emphasises transparency and bottles its whiskies at natural cask strength without adding artificial colouring nor using chill-filtration.

Allt-a-Bhainne distillery

Allt-A-Bhainne distillery was built in 1975 by the Seagrams whisky company (now part of the Pernod Ricard group). The distillery is located very close to Dufftown, in the Speyside whisky region.

Following market fluctuations the distillery has gone through periods of limited production and it was mothballed between 2003 and 2005. These days the distillery produces spirit at full capacity. An estery malt for blends is regularly produced and a smoky one is produced from time to time.
