Following Dunhill’s decision in late 2017 to discontinue its iconic pipe tobacco collection, enthusiasts were left wondering whether some of their favourite blends had disappeared for good. A distinctive Virginia blend, Royal Yacht combines carefully selected leaves ranging from bright lemon and golden bronze Virginias to deeper, richer varieties. Its naturally developed sweetness is complemented by a delicate topping, adding an intriguing character reminiscent of plum and raisins, with subtle Perique-like notes but considerably less peppery intensity.

Peterson Pipe tobacco blends can trace their history to the 1950's when the Peterson brand was launched as a Tobacco blender as well as a premium Pipe producer. During 1950 the brand launched the Peterson Mixture that took the Irish market by storm. Producing pipe tobaccos to requested recipes for regular customers the brand further expanded its range in 1995, with the launch of 8 new unique luxury pipe blends.

In the new millennium the brand continues to produce the finest blends of pipe tobacco that are often the favourite smokes in many a pipe smokers rotation.
