About the Range..
In 1890, after 15 years of repairing pipes for the Kapps, Charles Peterson patented his groundbreaking System, introducing a raised draft hole and moisture reservoir. Further patents followed, including the graduated bore mouthpiece (1891) and the P-Lip (1894–1898), designed to reduce tongue bite, manage moisture and extend pipe longevity.
Peterson’s System established the foundations of the House Style, characterised by muscular shanks, tubular profiles and generous bends. Largely unchanged for over 120 years, this distinctive aesthetic remains central to the brand’s identity.
The System range offers a variety of shapes and finishes, combining Peterson’s pioneering engineering with enduring craftsmanship to suit both newcomers and seasoned collectors.
