Trinidad Fundadores
Trinidad Fundadores - as the name suggest ''fundador'' was the pioneer size of Trinidad brand launched all on its own in 1998. Those cigars are widely recommended for its innovative medium body fragrant blend created by master blender Raul Valladares at El Aguito.

TRINIDAD BRAND
Trinidad are named after the beautiful 16th century city of La Santisima Trinidad, listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. The brand of cigars dates back to 1969 but for many years, like Cohiba it was made only as a gift to foreign diplomats. Not untill 1998 it was released for sale to the world at large in small quantities.
At the start there was only one size: Fundadores and in 2003 three more sizes (Reyes, Coloniales & Robusto extra) were added to the range. At the same time Trinidad's livery and its cigar brand were updated to recognized the prestige that the brand commanded. For years Trinidad were made in EL Laguito, the Cohiba Factory, where its uniquely fragrant and aromatic medium flavoured blend of filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abjo region was developed. By the end of 2004 demand for Trinidad outstripped the production capacity at El Laguito and it was decided that the production should be moved to Pinar del Rio City.
