The Hive is a NAS blended malt from Wemyss Malts. The whisky is made with a selection of quality single malts from various distilleries around Scotland. The main ingredient in this blend is a single malt from the Speyside. Aptly named, this whisky displays rich honeyed notes, a creamy palate and fruit touches.

Wemyss Malts

Wemyss malts are whisky crafters focusing on selected and premium stocks. Their tasting panel includes Master of the Quaich Charles Maclean. As a general rule, only the best casks they come across are bottled in either single cask releases or blended as part of their blended malt range. Each release is named according to its taste profile. The Wemyss family has historical connections to the whisky industry. In the 19th century, the Haig family built its first distillery on Wemyss land.
