Ideal as your companion cigar, recognisable woody, earthy flavours progress in an easy manner.A great cigar for a mid-afternoon relaxing smoke. . It doesnt require too much commitment but is enough to satisfy on a special occasion. It is still a large cigar so would not be recommended as an introduction to premium cigar smoking.

Montecristo Cigars
Montecristo is probably the best known and most appreciated brand of Havanas throughout the world. The name comes from Alexandre Dumas' famous novel "The Count of Montecristo" which was a firms favourite when read to Torcedores at the factory where it was founded in 1935. The Original range of Montecristo cigars was composed of a narrow range numbered from 1 to 5. Today it consists of a wide variety of Vitolas to cover every level of enthusiast's needs. In 2004 the 52 ring gauge Edmundo size was introduced in recognition of the trend for heavy gauge cigars, and 2009 saw the introduction on new series Montecristo Open consisting of four sizes blended to a lighter flavour than the rest of Montecristo's range.
