The Reserva Especial was the result of the most important decision in the history of La Flor Dominicana - the purchase of their own farm where they could grow their own tobacco. This allowed them to completely change their style of cigar from the traditionally mild flavour profile that the Dominican Republic was known for to new blends with extraordinary character, power and flavour.
