Nording Pipes

Nording Pipes started oddly not with pipes but with machinery, Erik Nording was 15 when he started as a blacksmith for is father who ran a machining shop for razor blades. when he turned 16 his father passed away and he was expected to take up the reigns of the company. when he was learning to be a Engineer at university the Young Erik discovered the practice of pipe smoking and this started a life long fascination with the pipe smoking world. When a friend asked Erik to produce some machines for pipe making Erik was set on the course of pipe maker. Partnering up with his friend they started a new pipe manufacturer called SON. Lasting only two years the newest pipe maker in Denmark look like it was going to fail but Erik took it upon himself to keep it going. Eventually many years later, opening a Factory near Copenhagen where the pipes are still hand made both to patterns and Free Hand.
