Glen Moray 12 Year Old is aged for a minimum of 12 years in ex-bourbon casks, which gives the whisky its distinct vanilla and caramel flavors. It is a medium-bodied whisky, with a smooth and balanced taste profile. It is known for its notes of honey, fruit and spice with a hint of smoke.
Glen Moray Distillery
Located in Elgin, Morayshire, this distillery was founded in 1897 in the site of a brewery. The distillery has been producing younger releases since the 1990s. The portfolio also includes 'finished' whiskies with the most outstanding being the Chardonnay Cask Matured and the Port cask finish. It is currently owned by French Company 'La Martiniquaise'.
