Swishers
Swishers was not some much founded but rather acquired as a debt settlement in 1861. David Swisher took over the company and eventually passed it on to his two sons who change the name to Swisher Brothers, The company grows to include three factories and one thousand employees. In 1913 john buys his brother our and renames the company John H Swisher. The company eventually moves to Jacksonville Florida, it is here that the company becomes world renowned producing millions of cigars a day and building the worlds largest Cigar factory.
