After years of scouting and experimenting, cigar lover Pete Johnson created the Tatuaje brand in 2003 upon meeting industry veteran Jose 'Pepin' Garcia. With the original intention of re-imagining his favorite Cuban cigar, Johnson quickly realized the potential that Nicaraguan tobacco offered, and has giddily worked with Garcia to bring to life some of the most exquisite boutique blends the world has seen to date. With cigars rolled both in Nicaragua and at the El Rey de Los Habanos factory in Miami, Florida, and a catalog that includes the acclaimed Cojonu, the annual Halloween-themed Monster series and more, Tatuaje is forever a formidable force in the tobacco industry.
