Montecristo No. 2
Montecristo No.2 is a classic vitola in the brand's range. Easy burning with a controlled release of Montecristo flavours; many fans look no further than this. A lot more leather present from the start than some other Montecristo cigars. The brand's famous black pepper and earthy character are obvious from the start. A little too easy to smoke past the band if you can handle it, as it's thick ring gauge does a great job of not having the smoke overheat, even if you smoke at a quicker than average pace.

Montecristo Cigars
Montecristo is probably the best known and most appreciated brand of Havanas throughout the world. The name comes from Alexandre Dumas' famous novel "The Count of Montecristo" which was a firms favourite when read to Torcedores at the factory where it was founded in 1935. The Original range of Montecristo cigars was composed of a narrow range numbered from 1 to 5. Today it consists of a wide variety of Vitolas to cover every level of enthusiast's needs. In 2004 the 52 ring gauge Edmundo size was introduced in recognition of the trend for heavy gauge cigars, and 2009 saw the introduction on new series Montecristo Open consisting of four sizes blended to a lighter flavour than the rest of Montecristo's range.
