Caldwell The King is Dead - Manzanita
The King Is Dead is an interesting brand that took over five years to blend. The wrapper is grown from a rare Dominican varietal called Negrito and combined with a Dominican Corojo binder, the blend is finished with expertly aged Dominican long filler tobaccos. The resulting cigar is medium to full bodied with balanced and bold notes of spice, chocolate and coffee with hints of maple sweetness.

Caldwell Cigar Co.
Caldwell Cigar Co., founded in 2014, is represented by Robert Caldwell, who has become synonymous with the brand. The company produces its core line of cigars at Tabacalera William Ventura, situated in the Dominican Republic. In 2008, Caldwell made his entry into the cigar industry by introducing a luxurious service, akin to a concierge, delivering cigars and accessories to upscale hotels and restaurants. Presently, Caldwell's portfolio encompasses more than 10 brands originating from three different countries, and he has gained recognition for his collaborative blending projects with fellow cigar makers. Among his offerings, the Eastern Standard stands out as a smooth and medium-bodied cigar, boasting a lustrous hybrid leaf with a Connecticut Ecuadorian wrapper.
