Originating from the highlands, this blend represents a union of malt whisky spirits, possibly even predating any maturation process. After aging in ex-bourbon casks, Uncharted Whisky discovered and admired the spirit nearly two years ago. Subsequently, the decision was made to transfer the spirit into a fresh Sauternes barrique, marking the inception of something innovative and distinctively 'Uncharted'.
