Whisky Concerto Recital 8.1 (Blushy Crushy) Ten Cane 2012 12 years old
Ten Cane was a distillery formerly owned by LVMH, operating for a brief period from approximately 2005 to 2015. Renowned for its distinctive light rum style, the distillery predominantly produced rums from 100% cane juice, with a short phase utilizing a blend of 75% cane juice and 25% molasses. The original Ten Cane expressions were initially matured in cognac casks for ten months. This particular release, however, underwent an extended four-year maturation in cognac casks in the Caribbean, followed by additional ageing in a refill rum cask in Europe.

Blushy Crushy derives its name from its pronounced fruit-forward character, offering an array of sweet notes including white peach, lychee, and ripe pear that are immediately captivating. Whisky Concerto presents this rum as an introduction for whisky enthusiasts who may not traditionally explore rum, providing an opportunity to discover a new dimension of flavor and craftsmanship.
