Kingsbarns 10 year old Bourbon and STR
Distilled from locally grown barley, this light and fruity spirit has been patiently matured in a combination of 90% ex-Bourbon barrels and 10% STR red wine barriques. Over more than a decade, the casks have nurtured the whisky’s character, adding layers of richness and complexity. The ex-Bourbon barrels lend notes of soft vanilla and tropical sweetness, while the STR barriques bring depth and a gentle touch of spice. The result is an elegant Lowland single malt, fragrant with summer blossom, ripe stone fruits, and toasted oak.
Kingsbarns Distillery
Kingsbarns distillery is a new Lowland distillery located in the Kingdom of Fife. Construction started in 2013 and the distillery started producing as soon as they could. While the spirit matures into whisky, some of it is sold as new make spirit.
