Saltire Rare Malt was established from a longstanding partnership between founders Nigel Heywood and Keith Rennie. Over the course of more than three decades, the two founders cultivated an exceptional collection of fine and rare single malt whiskies. Their shared passion for the “water of life” ultimately led to the creation of Saltire Rare Malt, conceived as a distinguished platform through which to share their outstanding portfolio of Single Malt Scotch whiskies.

The collection is further enhanced by the expertise of respected industry figures, including Hans Offringa and Becky Offringa—collectively known as “The Whisky Couple”—alongside UK & Europe Brand Ambassador David McCallum.

Based in Falkland, Saltire Rare Malt stands in a town closely associated with the early history of Scotch whisky. More than five centuries after the recorded emergence of Scotch whisky in Falkland, the company represents a modern continuation of that enduring legacy.
