Craigellachie 12 year old Living Souls
A characterful 12-year-old single malt from Speyside’s Craigellachie Distillery, a producer famed for its traditional worm-tub condensers, which help create the distillery’s distinctive, robust spirit character. This expression was matured exclusively in first-fill sherry hogsheads, imparting layers of rich dried fruit, spice, and oak influence. Bottled by the acclaimed independent bottler Living Souls at an approachable 46% ABV, it is presented in its natural form with no added colouring and without chill filtration, preserving the whisky’s full flavour and texture.
Craigellachie Distillery
Craigellachie distillery was founded in 1891 during the whisky boom of the 19th century. The distillery has produced a distinct whisky that has been popular in blends. In 1998 the distillery was acquired by John Dewar and Sons (a subsidiary of Bacardi). These days there is an official release from the distillery. Previously only independent single malt releases were available. This distillery produces whisky that ends up, for the most part, in the Dewars blends.
