Glenallachie 10 year old Cask Strength Batch 10
In their pursuit of surpassing previous achievements, Glenallachie Batch 10 stands as a genuine embodiment of the craftsmanship and skill that shapes each instance of their prized liquid gold. To craft their classically Sherried profile, Billy meticulously selected Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso casks for marriage with spirits aging in red wine barriques and medium toast/medium char American virgin oak barrels. The outcome is a meticulously balanced and intricate malt boasting distinct hints of dark fruits intertwined with layers of comforting sweet spice.
This expression is presented in its unadulterated state at a natural cask strength of 58.6%, devoid of any added coloring or chill-filtration.
