Tormore 16 year old

Tormore 16 Year Old is double matured with a deliberately gentle oak influence, allowing the distillery’s vibrant spirit character to take centre stage. It is further matured in a selection of sherry casks, building layers of flavour, depth, and structure. Bottled non-chill filtered, it retains a slightly richer, more luscious, creamy mouthfeel. The result is a beautifully balanced sherried style that enhances rather than masks Tormore’s pure, fruity spirit.

Tormore Distillery

The Speyside distillery Tormore was among the first new distilleries built in the 20th century. It is perhaps better known for its striking, distinctive architecture than for its whiskies, which are primarily used in blends. In 1986, the distillery was granted listed building status despite being less than 30 years old at the time. Its Gaelic name, “Torra Mhoir,” translates as “the big hill.”
